The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency stated it really is alarmed concerning the large quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area every day. The service issue designed for intervention experiences a superior influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to SRD attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to permit the servicing of all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
